FAQ

How much of an investment are we talking here?

Wedding Bundles begin at $2250 and include a USB of images with a release to print for personal use. Custom bundles are available upon request. Years of experience, timeline help, wedding party wrangling, no hassle family formals, happy shenanigans and hugs are included in every bundle at no extra charge.

Do I need all day coverage?

You may add additional hours of coverage to your heart’s content, however many of the weddings we document are eight to nine hours. This is usually enough time to cover the bride getting into her dress through the first dances and about 30 minutes of ripping up the dance floor. Kate is always willing to sit down and discuss your timeline after booking to determine the right amount of coverage for your needs.

Who is showing up to shoot our wedding?

In order to capture your story with her whole heart, your wedding day will include coverage by Kate Bentley plus an associate photographer.

We’re over the moon in love with your work! What’s the next step in the booking process?

After I receive your inquiry, I send out a detailed list of bundle information and ask that we set up an in person consultation. Sitting down face to face with my couples before they book is extremely important to me. I want to get to know you both and let you get to know me before making any decisions. I love what I do to my very core and want to make sure that matches your vision for your wedding day photography.

How many images do you take on a wedding day?

The number of images in a final wedding collection will vary from wedding to wedding depending on wedding size, details, and how much time you set aside for portraits. The average number of final images after an 8 hour wedding with Kate will be anywhere from 400-600.

When will we get to see our collection?

My contract states that I will have your wedding collection completed and uploaded within 6-8 weeks of your event date. Images are uploaded to your online gallery and your collection is mailed out to you the following week.

What is your favorite type of wedding to shoot?

The ones with ridiculously happy people. The ones where every guest is there to celebrate with the couple and is emotionally present in their wedding day. The weddings where the couple has taken the time to make their wedding day completely about the things they love and a true experience for their guests. I love weddings, guests, and couples with adventurous hearts.
